ABOUT SONDRA TUCKER
SONDRA K. TUCKER is a well-known composer for flute ensemble, handbells, choir, and organ. In addition to her composing, Sondra works as Handbell Editor for Alfred Handbell, a division of Jubilate Music Group. She has extensive experience as a flutist, having performed in orchestras, pit orchestras, concert bands, flute choirs, and as a soloist. Her sacred compositions are published by most major church music publishing houses. She is active in music circles of her hometown, Memphis, Tennessee. Her music degrees are from the University of Arkansas and the University of Memphis. Additionally, Sondra self-publishes handbell ensemble music under her own Casa Publications imprint. Away from music, Sondra is an avid knitter and motorcycle rider. She is married, with two children and three granddaughters.
